The sushi here is both delicious and inventive -- and you're crazy if you don't go straight to the specialty rolls! Service is great as well, and they allow B.Y.O. wine! Ambience is just okay; don't expect anything ultra-romantic. If it's a special occasion, I'd go to Margaret Kuo's, which is very classy. We live going to Gugu, but just as often do DoorDash if we just want Sushi plus wine from my own cellar..

Been to a lot of restaurants like this and wasn't expecting all the food we ordered to be this fresh & tender for how casual it felt :) We tried the Alaskan Cod, Red Thai curry, and Salmon + Scallops hibachi combo. Liked all of it especially the cod. Everything came quick. Atmosphere was cozy. Great place to stop by before / after visiting Longwood Gardens

What a great place!!! Very casual, staff is super nice, food was fantastic. Its a BYOB place so dont forget your wine. The will open it for you. They have those cool ro ot that brings your meals. Bang Bang shrimp and calamari very tasty. We had the sashimi sampler, all fresh, we each had some rolls, the rolls are big and delicious. Shaggy dog, tempura shrimp and Phili all hits. We will be going back. They have an outside are we will try this summer. Right down the street from Longwood Gardens. Sorry no food pics, too busy eating.

Food is always flavorful & fresh, service is quick & friendly, restaurant is calm & clean with various options for all!

GuGu is a great BYOB that has HUGE portions and fresh fish. The bang bang shrimp are a must, and the fried rice is excellent. Our service was great and there is even a robot that delivers your food. Overall the restaurant was great and we will definitely return.

Amazing place! Second time I have gone and it did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous inside. The wood walls and tables are stunning. The staff always is super nice and fast. The food is always prepared quick and is delicious. We had the gyoza was an appetizer and they were delicious. I had the salmon platter which came with all different kinds of fresh salmon. It was superb and definitely worth the price. The robot is another cool touch that is entertaining for young and old. Definitely would recommend for anyone who loves Asian food!

We are usually never around this area but came because of Tough Mudder. We came for a late lunch on a Saturday around 3pm and the place was able to easily accommodate a large group of 8 people. I was not sure what to expect because they have wide variety of items on their menu - Chinese , Thai, and also Japanese cuisine. I get worried when a place doesn't specialize in a cuisine but I was surprised by how delicious the food turned out to be. I would recommend going with their sushi and Japanese options as I think that's more of their focus. The sushi roll I got were really good and the portions sizes are large for a fair price. My friend was not impressed with his pad Thai noodles - it was mostly just noodles and very carb heavy. The ambiance is cozy, the place makes you feel like you're in a forest, eating inside a cabin. They also have this Robot that roams around, delivering food and saying hi. This is my favorite sushi place I've had in Pennsylvanian! (Especially if you take into consideration of the price)

Overall great dinner experience but service was not great. We called ahead to make a reservation. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time but were still seated right away. It was easily to park in the restaurant parking lot. Service throughout the whole night was slow and our waitress did not check on us much. We had to wait a long time to order and throughout the night it took a long time for her to check on us, refill drinks, and get the check. The robot cat waitress was very cute and did bring us our food which was cool! Unfortunately the fried rice with the hibachi was cold. But all of the food had good flavors and tasted well. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and festive with Christmas decorations. The restaurant is also BYOB. Overall yummy food but subpar service.
